Ron Zinnerman
Head of Global Talent Acquisition, Aon Corporation
Ron Zinnerman is currently the Head of Global Talent Acquisition for Aon Corporation. Aon is a global professional services firm with 50,000 employees across 120 countries. The firm provides advice and solutions in Risk, Retirement and Health. Prior to joining Aon, he led talent acquisition for Marsh & McLennan Companies; Marsh and Guy Carpenter businesses for North America.
Ron spent 14 years at JPMorgan Chase & Co. prior to joining MMC. His last role at the bank was Head of Business Banking Recruiting for the US.
Prior to leading Business Banking recruiting, Ron served as Vice President of Corporate Responsibility. In that role Ron provided over $10MM annually in philanthropic support to underserved communities throughout Illinois and Wisconsin on behalf of the JPMorgan Chase Foundation. In 2008, Ron created the 741Workforce Collaborative; which consists of several workforce development organizations with the sole purpose of improving workforce training and employment opportunities for low income residents of Chicago. Over 2,000 people have secured workforce training and employment opportunities since the inception of the collaborative. Ron’s work was featured in the JPMorgan Chase annual Corporate Responsibility report, local media, and a MacArthur Foundation case study.
Prior to joining the Corporate Responsibility team, Ron was Vice President of Corporate Diversity for JPMorgan Chase and its predecessor, Bank One. In 2005, Ron served on an empowerment delegation from Chicago that visited South Africa to activate strategic partnerships between corporations and universities post-apartheid.
Ron is a graduate of Eastern Illinois University with a degree in Finance. He is a past board member of CARA; a non-profit organization that provides jobs and training for formerly homeless individuals. He also is a school board member for Homewood School District 153. Ron currently resides in the Chicago area with his wife and three daughters.
