Noelle Codispotti
CEO, Gamma Iota Sigma
Noelle Codispoti is the Chief Executive Officer of Gamma Iota Sigma, the International Risk Management, Insurance and Actuarial Science Collegiate Fraternity. GIS is comprised of over 75 chapters from colleges and universities throughout North America and nearly 4,000 students. She became their first employee in January 2011. Noelle is responsible for managing the strategic direction of the organization; creating and administering valuable programming that encourages and sustains student interest in the industry; and cultivating, maximizing and expanding industry partnerships and relationships. Prior to joining GIS, Noelle spent six years with ACE USA in both their New York City and Philadelphia offices. Most recently, she served as Underwriting Manager, ACE Professional Risk, with responsibility for managing the General Partners’ Liability underwriting unit with a specialty focus on Real Estate Investment Trusts and public and private partnerships.
Noelle received her Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Temple University in 2005 with a dual major in Actuarial Science and Risk Management. She holds the Associate in Risk Management and Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter designations.
Noelle has been a member of the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees of Gamma Iota Sigma since 2004. She serves as a member of the Griffith Foundation Leadership Council, the Risk and Insurance Management Society’s Student Advisory Council, the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation’s Philadelphia Chapter Board, and the National Association for Mutual Insurance Companies Project Leadership Advisory Committee. She is a frequent speaker at conferences and contributor to industry publications on the subject of developing and promoting the next generation of industry talent and generational differences.
In December 2013, Noelle was recognized as a Woman to Watch by Business Insurance and was named to Insurance Business America’s Hot 100 in January 2015 and their Elite Women in Insurance list in September 2015.
