Rohit Verma

Global Chief Operating Officer, Crawford & Company

Rohit Verma is the global chief operating officer of Crawford & Company®. He brings more than 20 years of international strategic expertise and leads the company’s Global Service Lines including Crawford Claims Solutions, Crawford TPA Solutions and Crawford Specialty Solutions, in addition to Crawford’s Information Technology division.

Verma carries a proven track record for creating momentum and growth wherever he turns his focus. He is known as a dedicated leader with a gift for communicating vision and inspiring action from his team that is rooted in both deep skill and clarity of communication. He sees staff engagement as the most critical enabler of any organization’s success and is a champion for Crawford’s global team member engagement initiatives. His special interest is in identifying and developing high potential employees early in their careers to gain greater exposure and visibility within the organization.

Prior to his role at Crawford, Verma served as the divisional executive for the south region of Zurich North America, where he was accountable for profitable growth and market execution. In his more than ten year tenure at Zurich, Verma also served in a number of executive management positions across underwriting, finance, strategy and general management. Prior to Zurich, Verma was a management consultant with McKinsey & Company and Deloitte Consulting with a focus on insurance and financial services.

Verma was recognized by the National Underwriters Magazine as a “Top 5 Insurance Executive Under 40” in 2012. He holds an undergraduate degree in computer engineering from University of Delhi, India, and a master’s degree from Northwestern University in Chicago. He has also attended leadership programs at Harvard, Cambridge and London Business School.

When away from work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children or hitting the golf course.
